ARASH Majlish

Terms of Use (End-User Licence Agreement)

Effective 28 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Muhammad Sharif Ul Arafin, trading as ARASH Digital ("we", "us"), the developer of ARASH Majlish (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (the "Usage Rules"). The App may also be used through other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing, where the Usage Rules allow.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, lend or sublicense the App; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, or try to derive its source code, except where the law expressly allows this despite this restriction; remove or alter any copyright or licence notice; or use the App to break any law.

2. Ownership

The App, including its design, text, graphics and code, is owned by Muhammad Sharif Ul Arafin and protected by copyright and other laws. "ARASH Majlish" and "ARASH Digital" are names used by us; these terms give you no right to use them. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

Open-source components and AI models included with or used by the App are licensed under their own terms, listed under Settings › About › Acknowledgements. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licences.

3. Your content and your responsibilities

Recordings, transcripts, notes and other content you create remain yours. The App processes them only on your device; see the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for how you use the App, including:

4. Translations and AI output

The App uses on-device speech recognition, translation and language models. Their output may be incomplete or wrong, especially with poor audio, overlapping speech, dialects or specialist terms. Summaries, minutes, action items and suggested speaker names are automatically generated aids. Check anything important against the original audio or a qualified human translator before relying on it, and do not rely on the App alone for legal, medical, financial or safety-critical decisions.

5. Updates and support

We may release updates that add, change or remove features. We provide support by email at support@arash.digital, on a reasonable-efforts basis. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for maintenance and support of the App; Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for it.

6. No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or that it will meet your requirements.

If the App fails to conform to any warranty that cannot be excluded by law, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) you paid for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are our sole responsibility, to the extent they cannot be excluded.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or business opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we were advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you; nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Apple

You and we acknowledge that:

9. Export and sanctions

You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo or designated by it as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all export and sanctions laws that apply to your use of the App.

10. Ending these terms

These terms apply until ended by you or us. You may end them at any time by deleting the App. They end automatically if you breach them. When they end, you must stop using the App and delete it. Sections 2, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 11 survive.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, except where the consumer protection laws of your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings there or apply mandatory rules.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will come with an app update, with a new effective date at the top; continuing to use the App after that means you accept it.
